About American Postage Company
American Postage Company buys unused U.S. postage stamps. We have been doing it since 2016, and we run four brands so that each kind of seller can find the right place to start.
Our story
Most people end up with stamps they will never use. A book left over after a rate change, an inherited collection, a box of postage from an office that moved its mail online. The post office will not buy them back, and selling them one by one is slow. We started buying them in 2016 so that a drawer of old stamps could become cash with a package and a few minutes of effort.
Why four brands
Someone with a few Forever stamps, someone with a large stockpile of unused postage, and someone who wants a refund for postage they no longer need are looking for different things. Each of our brands is built around one of those needs. See all four brands.
